Açaí again

Two weeks ago I put out some pictures realted to the harvest of açai. Today Steven Alexander in Santarem has related to those pictures and distributed a story, pictures and more information about the açai fruit, juice and so on. So of course I have to show of with to more pictures from our visit to the caboclofamilj at Rio Marajó-Açu i Brasilien i januari.

First you can se the man in the house managing the machine to remove the pulp of the berrie from the seed.




















Then you can see the açai together with the farinha de tapioca that Steven writes about. A delicious desert.
